To our Valued Partners and Guests:

As you may already know, The Everest Hotel Kathmandu has always subscribed to the philosophy of “Atithi Devo Bhava,” respecting guests as god. Adhering to this philosophy, we remain committed to supporting our partners and guests the best way we can as we all confront this unique and unprecedented threat to humanity from COVID 19. We are closely monitoring the situation and updating our policies to reflect the most recent developments related to this Global Pandemic.

Our Cancellation Policy:

We are constantly updating our cancellation policy to reflect the most recent developments related to COVID-19 and any official travel or meeting restrictions, suspensions, quarantines, or lockdown measures announced by the Governments of Nepal. Our aim is to offer you as much flexibility and planning comfort as possible.

Effective May 15, 2020, we have implemented the following updates to our cancellation policy, including some clarification and further explanation of existing procedures.

Individual Reservations:

·For individual guests with existing reservations for any future dates, we are allowing changes or cancellation without any charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival as long as the change or cancellation is made by April 30, 2021. Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.

·For guests making any new reservations for any future dates, we are allowing change or cancellation without any charge up to 24 hours before scheduled arrival through April 30, 2021. Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.

·Transfer of any advance payment or deposit made for stay in 2020, to 2021, subject to availability and/or any rate differences.

·Amendment in guest bookings will be subject to availability and may incur additional charges (rate differences).

·Valid for bookings made directly with the hotel, through correspondence to reservations@theeveresthotel.com. Please contact the hotel directly to modify or cancel your reservations.

Group Reservations:

·For existing reservations for groups for any future dates at The Everest Hotel, Kathmandu, we are allowing modification or cancellation without any charge up to 15 days prior to arrival as long as the change or cancellation is made by April 30, 2021. Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences. (Only applies to a group booking of maximum 10 rooms or less.)

·For new reservation for groups for any future dates, we are allowing modification or cancellation without any charge up to 15 days prior to arrival as long as the change or cancellation is made by April 30, 2021.
